Who is responsible

BJ Halal Foods (Hiroshima Islamic Cultural Center 102, 2786-1 Taguchi, Saijo, Higashi-Hiroshima, Hiroshima 739-0036) handles your personal information in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). What we collect

• When you order: your name, phone number, email address and, for delivery, your postal address, delivery date and time slot.
• If you create an account: your email address and a password (stored securely by our login provider; we never see it).
• If you join our newsletter: your email address.
• The contents of your orders and how you paid (cash, PayPay or cash on delivery). We do not take card details.

Why we use it

• To prepare, deliver and hand over your orders, and to contact you about them.
• To answer your questions and handle returns.
• To send the newsletter, only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep our records as required by Japanese tax law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with:

• Delivery companies, to deliver your order (name, address, phone number).
• Our service providers that host this website and its database (Cloudflare; Supabase, with data stored in Tokyo), under contracts that protect your information.

Cookies and storage in your browser

We use only what the site needs to work: your cart is kept in your browser, and a cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct, stop using or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email bjhalalfoods2025@gmail.com and we will respond without delay, after confirming it is you.
